This video is awesome i have built the merge quite easily but how do I get an accounting field to move with the cell formatting? I want the number to show $1000.00. When I use this method and copy a column of numbers only the 1000 appears in the word document. I tried changing it to text but still the $ and the 00 after the decimal does not show. Could you help me?
Soooooooooooo helpful.

Great video, thank you. I misunderstood tho, I thought you were going to result in a Word version of a Membership Directory. I have a template for one, but I dont see the values coming in for each one… any tips on that?

Thanks so much for this very informative video! Would this process work for a document template that needs to reflect pronouns and third-person possessive names?
My Word for Mac does NOT let me Edit Recipient List (it stays gray). My problem is that it works great except it only does the first 30 records ignoring the rest of the records. Thought anyone?

Tnx for an Indepth guide even its been 2 years it is still usable.
It would also be useful to know how to edit or format the date, number, and currency in the same mail merge. This may be the most difficult part of the mail merge when you use different date formats or other aspects.
Great tutorial. Steps are clearly explained along with the other possibilities and dont's of the process. I am interested in the mail merge envelope tutorial as well.
