None of these are related in any way to Trusted Certificates or compliant with eIDAS. If you sign legal documents this way, additional proof may be required in case of legal dispute.

Doing it the adobe acrobat way seems to be the easiest I suppose.

What if someone copied your signature? How to be safe?

Full disclosure, I work for Adobe where I advise corporate customers on the implementation of Adobe Sign. FYI , merely placing a visual representation of your handwritten signature on a page is not the same, legally, as using a “Digital Signature” or using a “Electronic Signature” system. Both of those are legal terms with specific legal meanings and signer authentication requirements that are pretty much universal, but can vary by country. For a lot of documents, placing a signature image on the page will suffice, but if you are signing an important document, especially those with money involved, you are going to want to use a electronic signature system like Adobe Sign for instance. There is plenty of really fascinating reading (eyes rolling) you can do on this “US ESign act 2000” if you want to look into it yourself.

Clickbait! Digital signatures are NOT the same as electronic signatures. One is secured/encrypted and you need to establish credentials or anyone can just copy your signature.

I prefer to use a signature that reflects my own handwriting.
