In this video, you’ll learn how to use your iPhone or Android phone to convert an image or a photo (jpeg, png or gif) into an editable Word document. You can also use this technique to convert an image or photo of a table into an Excel spreadsheet.
With Microsoft’s new Office mobile app you can take advantage of optical character recognition (OCR) technology to read the text and numbers inside an image. No more manual transcribing from hardcopies! Just snap a picture and let the app do its magic. The new Office mobile app is available to download on Android and iOS. The Office app includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps. Whatever changes you make on the mobile will be synced to the cloud and available on all your other devices.
I also show you how to install the free Microsoft Office mobile app. Once we do that, I convert a photo of a page and then I convert a page of a book to text. I can then edit this text in Microsoft Word. I then covert a photo a table from a book into a table of data that I can edit inside Microsoft Excel.
You can also use this technique to convert scanned images to an Excel table.

Hello. I would like to download Office in my phone. Upon clicking the Play Store I typed Office then it will ask what kind of office. Is it Office 365? or office game?

I have a version of excel that doesn’t allow me to get data from .pdf. I downloaded Office on my cell phone, took a picture of the .pdf from my laptop screen, and the table converted nearly perfectly. I will say that it’s hard to get a great quality picture from a screen and I had to mess with lighting and take a few pictures before I got a good enough picture for it to read the document. But it worked! This has saved me at least 30 hours of manual data entry. Too bad I had already invested about 40 hours of manual entry before I found this video 🙁

unfortunately, my Samsung isn't compatible with this app, otherwise looks like a very cool productivity tool

After capturing the image when I press continue it is showing "invalid credentials" why??

I tried to copy image to text but when I click the confirm it’s states that it’s processing but after a second of processing the INVALID CREDENTIALS comes out .. it says invalid credentials what to do
