There may be times when you have a #PDF document containing data that you want to use in #Excel. In this video, I’ll show you how you can use Excel‘s built-in function, #PowerQuery, to import data from a PDF into Excel.
To convert data from a PDF to Excel, the first step is to connect to the PDF file. From there, you may pick and choose what data tables you want to import. Once the data has been imported you can use the PowerQuery editor to delete columns, filter out data and more. The last step is to load the data as a Table to an Excel worksheet.
What’s great about connecting to a PDF file is that when that PDF is updated, the Table in Excel can be refreshed to show updated data as well!
