In this video, we’ll be showing you how to add page numbers to a PDF.

Page numbers are handy to keep track of what page you are on. PDFs are notoriously painful to edit, but this is an easy edit, and we’ll show you how to do it. Let’s add page numbers to this document.

1. Go to ilovepdf.com, it’s one of the only free sites and editors that offers customizable page numbers.
2. Scroll down and click Page numbers.
3. Upload your PDF.
4. Choose the Position and any other options you want.
5. You can choose the starting number. If I didn’t want the first page to be numbered, I can start the numbering at page 2 here.
6. Choose the font options. I’ll change the color here so it’s easier to spot for this video.
7. Click Add page numbers and then Save File.

We now have page numbers on our PDF!
