Export PDF file containing multiple chapters in correct order from Figma? One of our guest pointed out that Figma exported wrong sequence of chapters in PDF output. And he suggested a correct solution as well. Let’s put it to test. We have four frames that will be exported as 4 PDF chapters in one PDF file from Figma. Frames are randomly placed in Figma canvas. I selected all 4 frames and from file menu, exported frames as PDF file. In PDF output file, order of chapters was not correct.
To fix that arrange and align frames properly side by side in Figma and then export frames as PDF file. Now PDF output will have correct sequence of chapters exported from Figma. Keep files in Figma aligned and arranged properly to export a proper PDF file from Figma.
While exporting as PDF from Figma, you should take care about few things:
– Use frames as canvas and put images and text in it. One frame will be one PDF page. It is safe to use A4 size frame in Figma.
– Export frames as PDF. Don’t export group as PDF
