You have to jump thru some hoops to make it happen, but it is possible to convert Word over to PDF without using Premium connectors in Power Automate. Here is the 3-step process needed to make it happen.

how to convert word to excel? or pdf to excel?
I forgot to mention the file created in one drive is perfect as expected hence the problem is from the conversion
Hello Deshon, Your video is quite helpful however, I'm stuck I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My pdf file is blank. First, i have a word template in SharePoint that i populate on power automate and then I create the file on one drive and convert the file and then send it through an approval action but the problem is when I receive the approval email, the pdf is blank when I preview or open it.
Thank you for this content! It is very helpful!
Amazing workaround. But, still, unfortunately, it is not working for custom fonts.. or maybe do you know any solution for this? I tried with Word options, Save, embed fonts in file (first tick), but didnt help. Thanks
Do you have the actual details / code available somewhere? Really would like to walk through this in more detail as I am just getting deeper into putting code into flow instead of the plain out of the box actions.
Thanks DeShon, great series and super helpful.
Awesome bro, good man
Hi again. this video is exactly what i want to create. However i can't use convert file to pdf using onedrive extension because my account have the limited access. Can you give any other suggestion towards this? I do really need this help, i stuck for weeks
Great video as always!!! thank you!
Is there any tip on how to attach an image/signature to the word template?
Great video DeShon. Had a question about getting started. I have a document library that will hold Word documents and I want the user to select the document to convert to PDF and then from the Power Automate drop down select to run the workflow called Convert Word-PDF. The first step in the flow is 'For a selected file' and the next is 'Get file content' and if I use the ID or the file naeme (file name with extension is not available) it is no getting any information to continue the flow. The flow stops at the second step. It is not getting the file that was selected, what am I missing?
Hi, Thank you for sharing this content. Please advise if it is possible to convert sharepoint excel to pdf without premium subscribe?
Thanks for very well explained tutorial.
Again, a super video, which is of great help. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
I have one question: is it possible to include automatic connectors to delete the documents created in between (word and pdf in Outlook, word in Sharepoint) and just to keep the final pdf at the end in Sharepoint, which would be added to the email as an attachment?
Kind regards,
Marie
Hi! Thanks for your content. I'd like to ask you something. I want to built an app in P. Apps, but I need sign a files. Do you know how I can do this it. Without premium connectors. This is possible? Thanks
Do you delete the word doc in SP or keep it?
Hi DeShon,
Great video., thanks for your time. Do you know if its possible to add a Repeating Section Content control to the Word form Template?. I am preparing a contract form with multiple line items and those items are in a gallery in powerapps, the data source is SharePoint.
Hi Deshon, thanks a lot for your video, It is fascinating to find these tips because it allows us to continue exploring Sharepoint and connectors. Also thank you for the dedication and details in each video.
Maybe you have considered a scenario for digital signature in word or PDF documents? I understand that there is a DocuSign connector that is premium but maybe do you have any ideas for digital signature without this Docusign connector?
Hi Deshon, you're videos are simply amazing. You just explain everything in detailed easy way. Unfortunately I am having an issue. The thing is that if I open the word document in preview mode, the tokens are correctly filled, but if I open the word online or when I receive the PDF, they are not. Would you be able to help me with that? Many thanks in advance.
Thanks for everything! I have been using your videos for SharePoint. Do you mind going into how to create a custom modern SharePoint design in power shell? I’m stuck after the part of creating a JSON and how to upload it.
just found your channel. you've got some really good vids. i'm a budding sharepoint dev as well. keep up the great work man
