Hello and welcome to this video on converting PDF tables to Excel.
If you’ve ever received a PDF document with a table that you want to edit or analyze in Excel, you know how frustrating it can be to manually enter the data. Fortunately, there are several ways to quickly and easily convert a PDF table to an Excel spreadsheet.
One way is to use a PDF to Excel converter tool. There are many free and paid options available online, and most of them work by simply uploading the PDF file and exporting the table data to an Excel spreadsheet.
Another option is to use the “Copy Table” function in Adobe Acrobat. If you have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer, you can use the “Select” tool to highlight the table in the PDF, right-click on it, and select “Copy Table.” You can then paste the table into an Excel spreadsheet.
A third option is to use the “Insert Data from Picture” function in Excel. This is a new feature in the latest version of Excel, and it allows you to take a picture of a table (e.g. a screenshot of a PDF table) and convert it to an Excel table. Simply select the “Insert” tab in Excel, then click on “Data from Picture.” Follow the prompts to insert the picture and convert it to a table.
