During this session, we will learn how we can convert Word documents to PDF using Power Automate. We will not use any Premium connector for this conversion process. Check the entire video for more information.
First, when we upload a Word document to a SharePoint document library, we will convert that document to PDF and upload to another SharePoint library. We will use OneDrive for Business as a middle platform for this conversion.

worked!! but do you know how to convert pdf to excel or word to excel?
When converting a Word document to a pdf document, one day is subtracted from all dates. Can anyone confirm this? Is there a workaround for this?
DO you find that read file content is failing sometimes. Is there any setting required on server?
I am getting this error
"message": "The response is not in a JSON format.",
"innerError": "Cannot read server response."
This worked perfectly, first time – thank you so much!
im getting the error "Conversion of this file to PDF is not supported. (InputFormatNotSupported / Bad request)" at the convert file step. Any ideas how I could solve this? Thanks!
can we move files to different folders by matching names?
Thanks for this. This is helpful.
Will this method also update the other column values?
how to convert excel to pdf after approved on automate?
Hi.. Can we do from txt to pdf file
As Aug 2021 – This will not work in Power Automate GCC because there is no "Get file content" as a SharePoint action.
Hi Dhruvin, This is great, but what I want to do is be able to have anyone drop a word file in a SharePoint folder that will automatically be converted to PDF and then emailed. I find doing it the way you recommended will not work as it is using a personal OneDrive (business) account. So although it will work fine while I do it myself it will break if I ever leave the compnay or the account is disabled etc. Is there any way to do what I need:
– drop a word file into a SharePoint folder
– convert file to PDF
– Email file to external parties
– archive both word and PDF files into sharepoint location
thanks
