Thanks for the video. Just a question, how can I make the text number in bold ? Thanks
Thanks for the trick Mohamed!
Thank you for this. It worked perfectly the first time I tested it
I am seeing this a year or so after the last comment. I tried both the version without and with adding numbers, and combined them into a single Macro by copying the relevant SUB's from one to the other, and adding the text 'wNum' to the end of the SUBS from the Macro with numbers. Took a couple of tries to get it to work properly. What I want to find out is how do I add these Macros to PP in general so that I can apply it to any other presentation without having to create copy of the Macro in each new presentation, or to apply it to older presentations?
Merci gars tu me sauve
Thank you very much!!!!
Thank you so much! This is exactly what I wanted!
that just saved me literarily hours
Hi Mohamed, Thank you so much for addressing this issue! PPT has some pretty advanced animations– can any animation be converted to the PDF? or just some? Thank you!
Great video!! Thank you so much! It's been a long time since I have tried to find something like that, so I am really greatful! I would appreciate if you can clarify something for me: There a powerpoint I need to convert to an animated pdf, but this powerpoint has some gif images, is it possible to convert them with the macros as well? or do I have to do something totally different? Thanks again!
خیلی ممنون
Great script! Thank you so much!
Thank you for this.
I need a coding for gif of rotation of globe can you tell me how
Sir how you find the coding for video
Very nice, thanks…
Thank you!! This worked! On my computer (running Windows 10) to have the macros save the file needs to be .pptm
Very Very very helpful ! Thank you so much !
This video helps a lot! Thanks!

Thanks a lot!
I am using PowerPoint 16 and it does not seem to work. I have a slide, where I have multiple pictures on. When I click on each picture different shapes appear and another click will make the shapes disappear. However, when I am using the code, it does not add the multiple slides for each appearance/disappearance, just a copy of the existing slides but without the animation.
I have also tried PART 2, but again with no luck. 😉
I can see on previous comments, that your example was available for download – however, I can not seem to find it. Can you put it up for download again? 😀
I got lost with all the talk of page numbers, to my mind these would ruin the process of animating the slides
It worked smoothly thanks man! but I have an issue The text in the keep showing overlaying in the next split slide, how can I erase it once its appear? im not sure if my thoughts are illustrated here
Olá! Posso ti pedir um favor? Tem como você colocar uma legenda em português (Brasil) e mim enviar este vídeo. Parabéns ficou muito bom. Meu e-mail. luzartdesigner@gmail.com
Very useful, thank you for sharing!
Thanks a tlot for the video.. 🙂
The coordinates for placing the slide number in the video at 09:49 is good for standard slide size(4:3). But for widescreen (16:9) try 900,510
And to have colour for the slide number .. add "oshp.TextFrame.TextRange.Font.Color.RGB = RGB(0, 0, 255)" play with RGB values… this one is for blue colour
Hi Mohamed,
Thanks for the video, actually this code works in a simple animation but I've some smooth timeline journey animation in my few slides of the presentation and which is actually not getting rendered in pdf format as it is. Any idea or trick for that?
Did not work. Repeated several times and with the various script revisions posted. Published with no sound, no animation, and no video playback. Using a new macbook, powerpoint 2016. Pulling hair out.
Thank you very much Mohamed. Your explanation was so clear and this workaround is absolutely useful. You're a genius!
very helpful!
Will this work with PowerPoint transitions (like wipe, etc) as well as animations like morph?
Thanks for this! Saved me a lot of time 🙂
thanks for your good explanation. I have a question: why the animations that have effect options like "by paragraph" don't save correctly in pdf?!
for example if we have 3 lines with bullets, in pdf there are 3 page but all are like each other! without separating each paragraph in one page.
where the code comes from?
Thanks a lot for the great video. Very useful and the code works seamless
Thanks for the video. I paste the code into the visual basic window, go back to PPT, click Macros, and there is nothing there. Any suggestions?
Very simple and easy to follow. Thank you 🙂
Thank you for this extremely lucid and useful tutorial. I wanted to create animated pdf files for teaching over Bigbluebutton and with your tutorial I could do that.
I was searching for how to keep my animations in a Word document when converting to PDF and I found your very interesting video. Is this method adaptable to Word? Do you know how to keep animations in Word?
Hi-great video and easy to follow, however some of my animation effects did not carry over especially the moving images? Any suggestions on how to make this work. I am on a Macbook. thank you
Low volume
Thanks so much !!!!
Dear Mohamed.. I have a ppt with links to internal sildes in the same file.. this code didn't help resolving the transition (all links are not shown on the generated pdf, actually I have originally 195 sildes were converted to 195 sildes after running the macros. The links of the active slides at powerpoint are linked to the crossed (hidden) original slides and no links on the pdf as mentioned).
NOt working. on my system. what to do? need help ?
Sweet and Simple….
