Anyone who is getting the "Error! Can't save" problem likely installed infranview but not the plugins. On the same page that you that has the download link to the InfranView installer exe there should also be a link to download "InfranView PlugIns". Download the exe for that as well and run it after you have already installed Infranview. Use default for the install settings for the plugins and you should be good to do batch conversions. To check if the plugins installed correctly launch InfranView and go to the toolbar then select "Help" and then "Installed Plugins". On the list of plugins look for "PDF" and make sure it is enabled by checking the box next to it (should be enabled by default). Hope this helps!
slick. you inspired me to see if the program I already have (and am comfortable with-FastStone Converter) for batch converting photos had a JPG-to-PDF option. It does. Works great for batch converting. I Used PDFSam Merge basic free version to easily merge them. I only mention this in case someone else sees this and already uses Fast Stone. They might want to stick with what they know before learning a new program. thanks
Error! Can't Save
haha what's this, piece of crap software
I just downloaded it and tried, but its saying "error can't save" to all my files
Irfanview with the appropriate plugin offers an easier way to combine multiple jpg files into ONE pdf file: Open Iview, then menu Options > Multipage Images > Create Multipage PDF. A dialogue opens where you can add images, change the order if necessary, set options and a destination, then click the Create PDF Image button. Done.
where do you download the porgrame for this please and name of it?
beautifully explained, thank you
