In today’s business world, it’s more important than ever to be able to digitally archive documents. To do this, many users scan their documents into PDF format.
However, scanned PDFs can be difficult to work with because the text is not selectable or searchable.
Fortunately, there is a way to edit scanned PDF files so that the text is both selectable and searchable.
The process is known as Optical Character Recognition, or OCR. OCR can be performed with a number of different software programs, but for the purposes of this tutorial, we will be using Foxit PDF Editor Pro.
Foxit PDF Editor Pro is a powerful PDF editing program that includes OCR capabilities. To use Foxit PDF Editor Pro to edit a scanned PDF, follow these steps:
1. Open the scanned PDF in Foxit PDF Editor Pro.
2. Click on the “OCR” button in the toolbar.
3. Select the language of the document from the drop-down menu.
4. Click “OK.”
5. Make any necessary edits to the text of the document.
6. Save the document.
With these simple steps, you can easily edit any scanned PDF document using Foxit PDF

How to get this software please , where can I contact you
My version of Foxit Reader doesn't have that "from scanner" button anymore. I guess this feature was removed and this obsolete video was just forgotten. The manual still mentions you should be able to "create" documents from scan, but the menu options are just gone from the interface. Very sloppy, imho.
