When choosing between Google Slides and PowerPoint, pick whichever your client or team is most comfortable with using.
Although you can easily flip between the two programs, you will lose functionality when you convert PowerPoint to Google Slides (or vice versa). That’s why it’s best to use pick the program that everyone is most comfortable with, and stick with it.

Other problems – colors revert back to default colors, and charts stacked on top of each other lined up perfectly in PPT are offset in GS. Labels on charts appear when they were removed in PPT. Not happy in this moment.
Does existing PowerPoint audio records transfer over to Google Slides? I tried this importing…and I noticed my audios didn't transfer over.
When I drag the powerpoint to Google slides to import it I get a message that it is not supported for this format. How can I convert it another way please?

Thank you for this tutorial. I request an advanced solution if you can help: Is there a way to convert multiple separate PPT files to GOOGLE SLIDES AT ONCE? as we know, Google Slides doesn't take up storage in Google Drive. Is there a code or Google App script available for that?
e.g. I have 25 different PPT files in my Google Drive folder and I need to convert ALL 25 separate PPTs to 25 separate GOOGLE SLIDES AT ONCE.
