How can people be so stupid as to actually find this useful?
When i try to save a document on Excel, the file type always saves as xlsx type, even when i change it to one of the other types. Where as on my laptop to saves as the type i want .

Save as type shows no option but existing.

wow – that was dumb. Save as is not a way to change extension when people are starting to search for answer. Show how to change extension without opening the file – or multiple files at the same time.
How can I change thousands of excel extensions in the same folder at once? I can't change each one at a time. I won't live that long.
