Word experienced an error trying to open the file.
Try these suggestions.
* Check the file permissions for the document or drive.
* Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space.
* Open the file with the Text Recovery converter.
(Deed of Indemnity.pdf)

Ofcourse we can edit pdf in higher versions of word doc. But is their any solution for lower versions of word document like 2007 word.

I cant Edit the text once its opened in Word.

Maybe I'm being thick. Word uploads it but it won't let me edit. It displays a Keyline around the text and graphics but wont let me alter anything

Scanned document (not originally from Word) as you said, might not work so well upon converting it to Word.
So, how to resolve such issues?
I understand that if one purchase an Adobe software, it will not have such issues. Am I correct?
