I am using autocad 2016 version but while importing or attaching file dialouge box doesnot appear(to select pdf file) instead it ask for ATTACH path to file to attach in command promt only. How to solve

As a very new user of AutoCAD, I have found certain things quite difficult, including scaling drawings from imported PDFs. Your explanation and demonstration of how to do this would appear to be exactly what I need in order to learn what I need to , in order to use AutoCAD in my job. Really good video. Followed step by step but only managed to import part the pdf. I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Please can I send it it in so this can be looked at, imported and sent back as dwg. I would really like to know why it is. Please help! Pete
